Anglia Polytechnic University (APU) in the UK offers the undergraduate Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Sustainable Tourism Development as well as the postgraduate course, the Master of Science in Sustainable Tourism Development which focuses specifically on sustainable development in tourism.

International Ecotourism Society & George Washington University partnership offer a range of courses in Sustainable Tourism leading to professional certificates in areas such as ecotourism, environmental management, cultural heritage tourism, coastal and marine tourism, and more.

Sheffield Hallam University offer a postgraduate course from Certificate to Masters in Sustainable Tourism in the Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma/Master of Science (Sustainable Tourism) and also produce the Journal of Sustainable Tourism.
